Superb Jewelwing (Calopteryx amata)

Identification: Male- note that wingtips reach to about mid-point of S8. Note the brownish wingtips to the rear wing. Female- note green triangle at rear base of thorax, the evenly tinted wings with pseudostigma. In male and female note the costa and subcosta veins of wing.
